The location of our church at 30 N. Clinton is a unique one. To take advantage of this location, the Mission Board has funded an outreach program -- a free community arts series entitled Sundays At Four. This program is designed to draw in members and friends of the church as well as the entire community. Sundays at Four is intended to showcase the new Casavant Organ as well as the fine acoustics and ambience of our sanctuary . 

Seven events have been scheduled for the 2008/2009 season: 

   Oct. 26, 2008 The Central College Choir, Mark Babcock, Director: Davis Folkers, Organist   
   Nov. 30, 2008 The Captain's Verses -Chris diamond, Tom Knapp, Paul Kresowik, David Rogers 
   Jan 25, 2009 The University of Iowa Faculty Jazz Ensemble 
   Feb. 22, 2009 Kristen Naragan, Organ; Christopher Gaimey, Classical Guitar 
   March 22, 2009, Brian Umlah, Trumpet and Johnathan Allen, Trombone   
   April 26, 2009 Delbert Disselhorst - Organ  
   June 7, 2009 William Crouch, Organ.

So---mark you calendars and bring a friend or two or three to enjoy this exciting new series at the Congregational United Church of Christ. A free will offering at each event will benefit an Iowa City area charitable organization.
