PENTECOST SUNDAY

It’s Pentecost Sunday—the day we celebrate the gift of the Spirit of God to the church. It is also the day when we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of our church building. We will look backward, and more importantly, we will look forward. A meal in Rockwood Hall will follow our worship.

We invite everyone to wear red—the color of the day for Pentecost—or other “flame” colors: orange, yellow, etc.

SCRIPTURE LESSONS: Ezekiel 37:1-14; Acts 2:1-21

SERMON:      “150 Years Later”

The Rev. William Lovin preaching

ANTHEM       “How Lovely Is Your Dwelling Place”          Andrew Carter
