WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY

October 7 is World Communion Sunday. 2018 marks the eighty-second year of celebrating this day. World Communion Sunday (originally called World Wide Communion Sunday) originated in the Presbyterian Church in 1936. From the beginning, it was planned so that other denominations could make use of it and after a few years the idea spread. Through our prayers and music on this day we recognize our connection with Christians in every nation.
