LENT ADULT EDUCATION--ENTERING THE PASSION OF JESUS

Sunday Mornings at 9:15 in Rockwood Hall

Bill Lovin will be leading this series based on the book by the same name by New Testament scholar Amy-Jill Levine. This is not your ordinary Lenten study! We’ll look at the history and literature of the last days of Jesus’ life. We’ll consider the risks that Jesus took. And through all of this we’ll find ways to understand and question our own lives. This Lenten journey challenges us to examine our consciences and find out how deepening our relationship with Jesus and the Bible brings us into closer relationship with others and the world. While it is not necessary, if you’d like to read the book, Entering the Passion of Jesus, it can be ordered from a local bookstore or online.
