ONLINE WORSHIP

Join us for online worship this Sunday, January 10 at 10:15 a.m. at https://vimeo.com/channels/1547852.

The Order of Worship for the service can be viewed and downloaded here.

Today is a communion Sunday. Before joining the worship service, you are invited to assemble what you will eat and what you will drink. It can be bread and grape juice or wine or something as simple as a cracker or rice cake and water for use in our worship service.

We watched this week as the warning of the prophet Hosea was lived out in our nation’s capital: “Those who sow the wind will reap the whirlwind.”

What began with lies has ended with lies and violence and death.

Martin Luther King, Jr. said that “The church must be reminded that it is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state.” If we are to serve in this role, we must continue to use “unarmed truth” and require it from others, especially our leaders.
