Today is the fourth Sunday of Easter. The fourth Sunday of Easter is often observed as “Good Shepherd Sunday”—a day to hear scripture lessons such as the ones from Ezekiel and John that we will be read during worship, and to read the 23rd Psalm, with its familiar words of comfort: “The Lord is my shepherd.” The Congregational tradition doesn’t put a lot of stock in such special days—recognizing instead that each Sunday is a little Easter, a weekly celebration of resurrection. Still—let’s be honest—we could all use some comfort.

During worship we will also recognize members of Congregational UCC who are graduating from high school.
